Our Wine of the Month is the 2015 Sempre Amore (Italian for “Forever in Love”!) from Tsillan Vineyards in beautiful Lake Chelan, WA. This is the house white blend served at the famous Sorrento’s Italian Restaurant at the Winery. Best served well-chilled, it is a blend of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Riesling grapes, and is both crisp and fruit-forward, with flavors of tangerine and lemon that linger on the palate. Produced by Head Winemaker Shane Collins (WSU Class of ’04), this wine has medium body and acidity, with very little oak or tannin. This would be the perfect wine for enjoying with the first fresh seafood of the season (barbequed clams or shrimp), but also pairs perfectly with some homemade teriyaki bento bowls! The wine is now available at WSU Connections at 15% off!
